hey mickey...

I had the honor of creating this adorable dish for a couple who is getting married at Disney! I think it turned out really cute and who doesn't love Mickey! :) I also found stickers at the craft store that matched the dish!

new dishes

hi! I just wanted to let you know that I will be listing some new designs sometime tomorrow and Friday. I am a little limited right now because the internet is not working at my studio. whine. boo hoo. It is so sad that I feel completely lost without the internet. I will do my best to get things listed as soon as I can. Thanks so much for your patience. :)

nest

Sharing a little bit of my love of nature:
My Mom and little brother found this nest and 2 blue speckled eggs last summer. I absolutely love it! I couldn't believe there were eggs left in it! These are some of the prettiest little eggs. The blue color is just amazing. I have the little nest with the eggs in an apothecary jar in my studio. Don't worry, the baby birds were not harmed! I am tired of the cold weather and I can't wait for spring! :)

studio tour

Hands down my favorite vintage find ever! I love this little planter! I bought it from another Etsy seller called RoadTripVintageShop. I added moss and 2 little mushrooms. This little guy sits on my desk next to my computer.

I just had to show you my sweet squirrel friends. They keep me company during the day.
So cute!

This is some of my shipping supplies all organized in a vintage beverage crate. I bought it on Etsy from findingfabulous. She is such a sweetie. The vintage tea cart came from this amazing shop called "The Insyde Outsyde Shop" here in Chattanooga, TN. It was only $30.00. Their vintage furniture is shipped over from England and so affordable!

My stack of bags! Oh how I love the bags! I hand stamp each one, whew. The gigantic roll of twine is from Maw. I have no idea how old it is but I totally love it!

This is one of my stamp areas. The large blue shelf is from when I was a little girl. I always loves collecting cute little things and I still do! :)

So this is my awesome shipping station! LOVE! I still have to hang my cork board! Another thing to put on the list. The counter is tall enough so that I can stand to ship if I want... awesome!

So I decided to show you around my new studio. It is still a work in progress but I thought you still might like to see it. I haven't had a chance to paint the walls yet but hopefully this spring I will. My sweet and adorable grandmother who we like to call "Maw" has let me move my studio into her basement. I have quite a bit of space which is really nice. I am going to have to work on my lighting situation but for now it is fine. I got a little picture crazy today so I hope you enjoy the little tour! :) Have a nice weekend everyone!

Get Married Magazine

Thank you SO much Get Married Magazine for featuring my "I Do" bride and groom dish in their Spring 2010 issue! I raced over to Barnes & Noble this morning for my copy and tried not to squeal too loudly when I saw the dish on page 46. Brides-to-be, this magazine is full of wonderful resources and awesome ideas!
