Custom Pieces

I have to say that is dish is one of my favorites! The monkeys are just so stinkin' cute! I added a little pink flower in the girl monkey's hair. It turned out adorable!

This dish was a challenge but I was really happy with the final product. This happy couple is getting married in the mountains in Canada! So cool!

Some new button dishes I was asked to create. Orange, Spring Green and Green...I think they look like Skittles! :)

I love FLOCKING!

O.k., so I have trying to figure out a way to use flocking and I have found it! I just LOVE it! Something that sprinkles like glitter but is fluffy, can you get any better than that? My favorite place to order flocking is from craftflocking.com. These dishes have to be my favorite dishes yet! They do take a long time to create but they are just so cute! I hope you all enjoy them! :)

I am a little limited right now because the internet is not working at my studio. whine. boo hoo. It is so sad that I feel completely lost without the internet. I will do my best to get things listed as soon as I can. Thanks so much for your patience. :)

nest

Sharing a little bit of my love of nature:
My Mom and little brother found this nest and 2 blue speckled eggs last summer. I absolutely love it! I couldn't believe there were eggs left in it! These are some of the prettiest little eggs. The blue color is just amazing. I have the little nest with the eggs in an apothecary jar in my studio. Don't worry, the baby birds were not harmed! I am tired of the cold weather and I can't wait for spring! :)

studio tour

Hands down my favorite vintage find ever! I love this little planter! I bought it from another Etsy seller called RoadTripVintageShop. I added moss and 2 little mushrooms. This little guy sits on my desk next to my computer.

I just had to show you my sweet squirrel friends. They keep me company during the day.
So cute!

This is some of my shipping supplies all organized in a vintage beverage crate. I bought it on Etsy from findingfabulous. She is such a sweetie. The vintage tea cart came from this amazing shop called "The Insyde Outsyde Shop" here in Chattanooga, TN. It was only $30.00. Their vintage furniture is shipped over from England and so affordable!

My stack of bags! Oh how I love the bags! I hand stamp each one, whew. The gigantic roll of twine is from Maw. I have no idea how old it is but I totally love it!

This is one of my stamp areas. The large blue shelf is from when I was a little girl. I always loves collecting cute little things and I still do! :)

So this is my awesome shipping station! LOVE! I still have to hang my cork board! Another thing to put on the list. The counter is tall enough so that I can stand to ship if I want... awesome!

So I decided to show you around my new studio. It is still a work in progress but I thought you still might like to see it. I haven't had a chance to paint the walls yet but hopefully this spring I will. My sweet and adorable grandmother who we like to call "Maw" has let me move my studio into her basement. I have quite a bit of space which is really nice. I am going to have to work on my lighting situation but for now it is fine. I got a little picture crazy today so I hope you enjoy the little tour! :) Have a nice weekend everyone!

Get Married Magazine

Thank you SO much Get Married Magazine for featuring my "I Do" bride and groom dish in their Spring 2010 issue! I raced over to Barnes & Noble this morning for my copy and tried not to squeal too loudly when I saw the dish on page 46. Brides-to-be, this magazine is full of wonderful resources and awesome ideas!

new year, new designs

Custom Modern Circles Monogram Dish. I am going to be offering some new simple modern designs! I am so excited!

Custom Wood Grain with Carved Initials Heart Dish, LOVE!

Button Dish... so cute! Everyone should have one in their craft room!

Hi everyone! I am a terrible blogger! Really, I can't believe my last blog was in October. So sad. Anyway, so much has changed since then. My mom and I are no longer running the brick kiln together. She has decided to step out of the crazy pottery spot light and take care of my 3 younger siblings and work on her cookbook. Oh, and also make salsa! She makes the best salsa ever! I wish all of you could taste it. So this year is going to bring quite a change to the shop. I will not be offering quite as many custom/personalized dishes but I will have a lot of new items! Here is a sneek peek as to what is to come(these are in the beginning stages so they are still gray) enjoy! :)
